Hai all,

I am getting an error message:

The terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed connections


All my remote desktop sessions are taken, how do I login remotely to Windows 2003 server?

Please point out or help out to get rid of this problem

I see this very common problem, especially if you are administrating remote windows 2000/2003 server. You can reset by connecting remote windows consol.

On local Windows XP system, Click on Start > Run > and type command:
Code:
mstsc /console
Then in connect window enter IP address of remote server (or use FQDN mywindows-webserver.com)

Now you can reset/remove unwanted terminal services remote connections.

I also find this is quite a useful for installing applications that will not allow you to install them using remote desktop connection.
