Default increasing load

dear users,

i have aa problem with top -d1 and service apachectl restart

when i am trying to restart http process using service apachectl restart and meanwhile using top -d1 from another console

i am getting to know that the average load in top, increasing when i am trying to restart the http process.

after the some time it start decreasing the load and suddenly service command runs.
it is happening at random time.


What the problem with my server

Default

It is common to increase or decrease server load nothing to worry about it. If you see constant high load then you need to do further investigation

That is quite high. Someone is running too many php/perl script or may be mysql putting too much load. How many websites you are running out of this box? Do you see anything unusal in /tmp directory?
