Hello.

I would like to know "Open Source" based User Attendance System software for my company. The company is having a vast database of users & all users are located on different places in the city.

All employees are making attendance entry in a Hard Copy Muster,which also contains some fake "Attendance" also.

To prevent this type of misuse, company suggested me to develop a "web Based" ticketing system.So that they can browse my website(ticketing system site) from their location.

I will use a Static WAN IP Address on the ticketing system.

Simply,I need a attendance software. Users can login by using their user name & password & they can register attendance.

It would be great if i can get some "Leave Sanction facility" inside the Attendance system software.

Please let me know if anyone knows/implemented such type of thing.

The point is, if I am a user, I can provide my authentication details to my colleague who can log in on my behalf, so proxy attendance problems still remain. I would suggest implementing some form of biometric based attendance system if you really want the issue of proxy attendance to be minimised.
