Default VSFTPD: Only One IP Address allowed for one user

Hello,

I have VSFTPD running on my server (Suse 10.3), I have one user for which I need to allow only one IP Address (or small range). For the rest of the users, no restriction for IP Address should be configured. Anyone knows how to do that?

thanks in advance
cheers!!

I'm assuming you haven't read the documentation:

do some trick with hosts.allow and hosts.deny

if u have user guru on ur ftp server, then add in hosts.deny

vsftpd:guru@192.168.23.111

(192.168.23.111 is client that will connect with FTP server.)

try this same with hosts.allow

both files are under /etc/ dir.
