Hello frends,

i am using fedora core 6 and apache 2.2.6, php 5.

I want to make php webpage for add - delete - modify linux user.

Somebody help me, if this is possible then how?

Well you can use php, this kind of stuff done better with perl.

Thank you very much for taking intrest in my request,

I want all these done through web interface, so i have to use php, if perl language can use as a web interface, then it will be nice for me. but i have no knowledge about PERL.

Look at these commands from PHP: system, exec, passthru etc... All of them allow you to execute system commands from PHP. Be aware that they are generally considered harmful in web hosting environment, and therefore are blocked in moost cases.

If you do have these commands available to you, simply execute the shell commands to create users using the commands that I have listed above.

oh and btw, Perl can always be used to build your web interface... but there's no harm in using PHP also
