Is there a way to update the debs on the live-CD ?.

I mean if there was a way we can update all the packages on the Ubuntu CD, the next time we load the OS is another system, we don't have to update it

There is something is Windoze world that is called slip-streaming.

Does Ubuntu have anything like that?.

I'm afraid to say but there is no *EASY* way, perhaps you can mount as iso image and point apt-get root to iso image but it will break something somewhere for sure.
