Thread: samba server

Hi everyone,

can any one explain about samba server in Ubuntu 11.10

and i am getting the following errors

root@ubuntu:~# chkconfig samba on
samba: unknown service
root@ubuntu:~# service smb restart
smb: unrecognized service
root@ubuntu:~#

Has Samba been installed? You can do so using
