hi,
i am facing a very annoying problem on my ubuntu9.10

the data transfer speed in the case of my flash drive is very slow...
2mpbs only

but while i transfer data from the flash drive to the laptop the speed is good..
the problem is when i transfer form the laptop to the flash drive.

my laptop:-
ubuntu 9.10

flash drive:-
sandsk 8gb

so i just want to know that is there any way to increase the speed or the buffer rate, or any software?
