Default Linux 64 Bit Netgear WG311 Marvell 88w8335 Rev 03 Chipset Wireless Configuration

not really the place to say this but i was reading ...
Linux Install and Configure Netgear WG311 Marvell 88w8335 Rev 03 Chipset Wireless Card

..and trying to a install a netgear wg311 on fedora 12. it turns out even tho the driver works on windows x64 its doesn't work on linux x64. you have to download the x64 driver from somewhere else. this was one of the guide that was easily found on the internet and really easy to follow, can you please integrate the following (form someone else) so people know they need a x64 driver to get it working on linux x64

and please but a note on the ndiswrapper guide
Ubuntu Linux Install and Configure Ndiswrapper and wpa_supplicant

All over the place I have seen people having huge problems installing the NETGEAR WG311v3 in Windows XP x64, because Netgear refuses to develop x64 drivers. Luckily, this card uses the Marvell Libertas chipset, which many other manufacturers are also using, so it's already done for them.

Anyways, my WG311v3 works perfectly in Windows x64 by following these instructions:

1. Go to:
Download-Center
2. Click on "Download" for "SK-54C1 Windows XP and 2000 x64 driver".
3. Accept, download, extract.
4. Install Driver.
5. "Continue Anyways"
6. It Works!

This should work for all 8335 series Marvell Libertas chipset LAN cards in Windows x64.
(Driver Filenames: mrv8335x64.inf, MRV8335x64.sys) "
