Thread: how to install cisco vpn client on debian!

hi
could anyone guide me how to install the cisco vpn client on my debian system,

i downloaded the file: Cisco_VPN_Client_v4.8.01.0640_Linux.x86_64.rar

and unzip it,

this is what i did,

For Suse 7.3 users these files are installed in /usr/src/linux-2.4.10.SuSE by default

* Binaries will be installed in "/usr/local/bin".
* Modules will be installed in "/lib/modules/2.6.18-6-686/CiscoVPN".
* The VPN service will be started AUTOMATICALLY at boot time.
* Kernel source from "" will be used to build the module.

i managed to install the client/kernelmodule by following this site:

i cant post links yet so u gotta remove the spaces

Try to use the kvpn gui tools may be help full for u
