I am new to ubuntu.
Previously I had window xp installed on NTFS partition having size 10gb out of 4ogb hard disk. I have total 4 partitions each 10 gb. For installing ubuntu 7.10, i formated one partition as raw partition. And installed the ubuntu 7.10 on that raw partition by booting from the ubuntu 7.10 CD. Now i have MBR of ubuntu in use. But i want to uninstall ubuntu 7.10 without effecting the windows operating system. Because when i will try to remove ubuntu 7.10, then its mbr will be removed and i will face problem. Can anyone help me to uninstall ubuntu 7.10 safely so that window xp remains working. |

This might be the basackwards way of doing it but I think it could work if nobody has any better ideas... lol
If you install another xp over ubuntu it should switch the MBR to the windows one |
