How to play music files using VLC on Ubunthu Server
Hi, is there anyone who can guide me on how to play music files on Ubunthu Server.

Usually server is installed without GUI, so it is better if you installed mplayer to play mp3 and other stuff. Do you have GUI installed? If so you can use either beep-media-player or xmms. Type the following to install them (open terminal and type):

sudo apt-get install beep-media-player xmms vlc mplayer Code:
mplayer *.mp3
