Default Enable IPv6 Ubuntu Linux
I'd like to test IPv6 under Ubuntu Linux. How do I do it? Do I need something from ISP? Do I need to upgrade my Cisco Router / switch / NIC / OS?

Not sure if the ISP's in India have started supporting IPV6 natively yet or not. Haven't heard of it yet.

Currently ISPs in India is not supporting IPv6 but few government department testing it like NicNET and IIS at Bangalore. Your best choice is to use 3rd party Tunnel over existing IPv4 network. No hardware upgrade required. Linux kernel is ready with IPv6. Please see following instructions to run IPv6 tunnel under Debian / Ubuntu Linux:
  1. tspc: Debian / Ubuntu Linux Configure IPv6 Tunnel
  2. FreeBSD Configure IPv6 Networking / Static IP Address
