Default How to get the root password for Ubunthu Server

Hi I am Albert and I am new to Ubunthu server. Is there anyone who can help me on how get the root password for the Ubunthu server because I can't do any configuration unless I am logged in as a root user.

Default

Ubuntu has no password set for the root user. Open terminal and type the following command to become root user:
Code:
sudo bash
Type your current password

Now type following to set password for the root:
Code:
passwd root
And you are done!
