All,
I bought a new MP3 player yesterday (Sandisk Sansa View 16GB) but as of yet have been unable to get it working with my Linux system (Kubuntu and Amarok). It connects via USB. Can anyone help me in this matter? Thanks in advance. A. |

You need to put the player in MSC mode: 1. Go to the main menu 2. Put the player in hold mode 3. Press 'left' until the lock icon appears 4. Now plug the player in You can even upgrade the firmware this way just by copying the firmware files to the device's root directory. |
