Default

By default only root user is allowed to use devices such as CDROM/DVD and floppy etc.

Default Kindly help to in these commands

Is there any one send me detail explanation of output of the prtconf, sysdef, dmesg, format. How can we findout that these devices are attached to this server for ex like hard disk is dad0 or scsi, for cdrom what is the path..

Smile Help in configuring the sever..

can anyone send a personal email of their so that i can contact directly for the help in solaris configurations. I am a fresher i got a offer to work on E10k server, kindly send me an email address of anyone so that i can clarify my doubts...
