Login using telnet / ssh or serial console and type halt or shutdown command

shutdown [ -y ] [ -g<grace> ] [ -i<initstate> ] [ message ]

shutdown -y -g 10 -i 0 - 6 Rebooting < -- follow the syntax

shutdown -y -g 5 -i 0 <- will shutdown the sytem in 5 seconds
