My Solaris 10 experience
I tried Solaris 10 inside vmware and it does not detect my card but I found driver online but here is the links that helped me and no Solaris 10 guest operating system vmware pack available:
Graphics driver for Solaris: http://www.camberwind.com/solaris/ download it from here and followed instructions. Rest of all hardware detected and used. I like it bit. I also downloaded Solaris freeware cd and other stuff like gcc, genome desktop. See site http://wwws.sun.com/software/solaris/freeware Hope this help if some one is trying the same on vmware
