Thread: Slackware package manager

I may have to help someone installing a few packages under Slackware Linux. Does anyone know how to install, list and delete packages under Slakware Linux version 12?

pkgtool - can view install remove programms (this is default installed)

slackpkg - package manager for slackware (you must install this)

Raj, yes use pkgtool to install or remove !! To list existing packages: ls /var/log/packages
