I seem to be getting conflicting info from "identify", "file", "mplayer", and dragon player.
The identify indicate something is wrong with the file I have moved over from my DVR 880HD but dragon player plays it fine. Mplayer produces a gray uniform background? and the expected blue borders with sound but no picture. It appears to be using ffmpeg codec OK.
identify outputs this:
identify: delegate failed `"ffmpeg" -v -1 -vframes %S -i "%i" -vcodec pam -an -f rawvideo -y "%u.pam" 2> "%Z"' @ error/delegate.c/InvokeDelegate/1061.
identify: unable to open image `/tmp/magick-XXIRmza6.pam': @ error/blob.c/OpenBlob/2584.
SUNP0003.AVI: RIFF (little-endian) data, AVI, 640 x 480, ~30 fps, video: Motion JPEG, audio: uncompressed PCM (mono, 22050 Hz)
and mplayer displays:
I would like to use mplayer to display avi files and did at one time but that command is not producing output.
mplayer -abs 65536 -delay -0.4 -nobps /home/justme/files/SUNP0003.AVI

Does someone have a clue what might be wrong? I also need to write to a file (preferably with mplayer) to the memory card, can someone point me to a tutorial or is it as simple as "cp"? Never played with SDHC cards before.
