Try smem command ( see FAQ Linux: Find Out What Process Are Using Swap Space ). The command to report memory usage by user:
    Code:
    smem -u
    Sample outputs:
    Code:
User Count Swap USS PSS RSS
    Debian-gdm 1 0 1972 2230 7824
    www-data 5 0 2552 5938 22584
    bind 1 0 39672 39736 40648
    root 76 0 376124 413660 608196
    vivek 58 0 1449516 1505232 1860720
You can also use combination of ps and other tools.
