    Default Linux show users active and inactive processes in system including % of the whole pro

    I need an aplication that can show the user what active and inactive processes are in the system , as well as the % of the whole process that's running.

    Someone please help.

    Try ps and top commands.
    Code:
    top
    ps -u username
    ps -U userName -u userName u
    The following shows all process:
    Code:
    ps -eaux

    but how can i do that to work in bash? or other programing program.

    You add those commands in your script. You may need to pipe out output to filters to get exact data.

    i just need the script to make that.. show active/inactive aplications and how many processes are in use.
    And i dont know how to make it
