    Default USB external storage partition revisited SOLVED

    Sorry to have put everyone (Jay especially to so much trouble. At 9PM I looked at all my posts again and simply did the following.

    sudo mkdir /media/DATA

    sudo mount -t ext3 /dev/sda1 /media/DATA

    sudo chown allen /media/DATA

    And I am in business again

    I have one more concern not related but will wait a bit before I give anyone my XP dual view concern.

    Again Jay who would have thought anyone would hang in that long. You are patience personified
