    1) company domain : mydomain.com

    3) pop3 and smtp service provided by mydomain.com.

now we have configured outlook express clients as
    pop3 : pop.mydomain.com
    smtp : smtp.mydomain.com

Now my question is can we configure sendmail central server in our office so that it will receive all smtp outside mails send by client computer and push to world and also sendmail will pull pop3 mails mails from our mydomain.com server and distribute to individuals users mailbox in outlook express

Do you have static public IP address assigned by ISP connected via business ADSL or lease line? To get email from internet you need SMTP connected 24/7. Other option is use ISP smarthost.

    Thanks for replying.

We have one static public ip address assigned and configured for our office internet. can I use that ip for smtp and pop3 service ie can I map my office stattic public ip with mydomain.com ( presently mydomail.com has differnet public ip than my office public static IP) . I have heard that sendmail/postfix with Dovecot ( pop3 ) can be used but can you tell me how to configure Devocat for our mydomian.com
