    Default Check CPU Speed in Linux

    To chek the cpu speed in Linux use /prco/cpuinfo file (try egrep commnd to get accurate output):

    less /proc/cpuinfo
    egrep  'GHz|MHz' /proc/cpuinfo
    Output:
    Code:
    model name      : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU            5148  @ 2.33GHz
    cpu MHz         : 2333.466
    model name      : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU            5148  @ 2.33GHz
    cpu MHz         : 2333.466
