Start with following books
 Book : UNIX Shells by Example 4th Edition Author : Ellie Quigley Published by Prentice Hall PTR. Mastering UNIX Shell Scripting Author : Randal K. Michael Published by Wiley Press And whenever you stuck somewhere come back here  All the best ... also try Scripting guides at tldp.org
