HI,
I have a directory that has subdirectories and text files within the subdirectories. These files get written to daily. Each line in any particular files contains a format such as..(each file has thousands of lines with same format) 2007/06/04 18:08:28 [6023] /data/stuff.zip I would like to either put this in a CSV or mysql format. What is the best way to change the format of these logs daily? Shell script? Using sed and set a cron job? I would like to attempt to do this myself so I can learn as I go. Thank you, Dustin |
