i am not able to execute function today as given in the tutorial even after editing in /etc/bashrc also i cannot put my scripts as executables....... please help me ......i'm a beginner who loves scripting much Quote:

Hi Vivek,
I am a doctor by profession and took to programming as a hobby. For a structured and planned introduction and study of computer science I have joined MCA offered by IGNOU (I had Maths in XII). Linux is in the syllabus for II sem. Though it was taught very well at my study centre (Karrox), I needed more material. I surfed and came across your tutorial. It is excellent. I just went through few pages and many commands and concepts were understood. Thanks a lot and my heartfelt gratitude for your hard work, Regards, Rajesh.

What goes? The tutorial looks very interesting. (Best read on Linux, on win now) So I go to down load it and the links take me back to the referral page?? Does anyone know of a good USB VOIP driver for Linux? Can't find my old 3.5mm VOIP phone. Was going to go totally to Linux for one whole month and no VOIP phone..... Asked the wife to find Tux on any devices at the electronics store and she could not. Why would companies cut off a whole segment of their market? Please check my pages out at Corkymoo.com. Wallpaper there won awards at the Erie County Fair.
