Just new in here, came to the forums through the tutorial (was looking for a updated version).

This link points to the LSSTv1.05r3 version. Is this supposed to be the v1.06 and was a typo or anything else?

I'm new to Linux. Just gain possession on a ***** N800 and subsequentlt installed a Ubuntu distro.

Thank you for making the isst available offline. It is such a wonderful document.

- some dead links in the offline version leading to *.php-file
- thumbs from ch08.html missing
- linuxcom.htm missing
- appb.html missing
- link in /scripts/q18 for dialog-tool (http://www.nixcraft.com/uniqlinuxfeatures/tools/) is dead
- http://www.nixcraft.com/docs/ deadlink

Hi All,

I am beginner for Shell Sripting. Can any one please gide me on how I can learn fast and quickly. Is this tutorial attached with the thread sufficient. I do not have any programming background.
