How to backup a particular Databases..through Bash script!!

For example i have 6 databases;

Anish
linux
Software
Questions
Rhce
Google

these are the databases i have from that i want to take "Anish" and "questions" database backup regularly.
through script. Is it possible !!

How to backup MYSQL databases is a specific MYSQL question, not an unix question.

You will have a better response if it is posted at a MYSQL site.

Use the mysqldump command as follows to backup a database called Anish:

Code:

mysqldump -u root -p'PasswordHere' Anish > Anish.sql
mysqldump -u root -p'PasswordHere' Questions > Questions.sql

You can also backup multiple databases to a single backup file:

mysqldump -u root -p'PasswordHere' --databases Anish Questions > mybackup.sql
