Hello All,
Please help me with below, I want to track changes made to a file and send the change made in the file through email For eg. user's crontab file. I want to track this file and whenever user appends or modifies the file, i want the changes to be emailed to select emails. Please help !!! |

You need to turn on account auditing and no need to write a shell script. It can provide all the reports for you, see:
