Access UNIX Shell via PHP Based Frontend
hey all,,
i have heard that it is possible to run linux/unix commands via website.. i heard that there is a script which lets users to control their ssh accounts via browsing and typing in text box which is located in website.. I know that this kind of script is coded in C or PHP but am not sure.! for example... lets say that u have website address and the script is located into it http://www.example.com/script.php if u enter this website there will be many things including boxes for typing into them (empty boxes to write command  many squares of permissions(chmod) and a small screen of output in same website.(script) as i know,, hackers use this kind/type of shells for brute-forcing safe mode. but still one thing for your notice,, i have no root access,, but yes i have access to my website via my SSH, i made a directory and named it "public_html" and put my web pages there and it works so will the scripts work with me? INSTALLATION In order to install PHP Interactive you need to extract the tar.gz inside your web root and make sure that the owner of the web server process is able to write inside the "scripts" directory. Yes, it should work as long as you have write access. Do you login using FTP or sftp or ssh?
