We have a webserver which is connecting to various other server on different ports say 1245, 10000, 10001,7003,etc. The connectivity with the remote servers are through a direct data connection or via VPN. There could be situations where the VPN would be down and we need to reconnect manually.
How to write a bash script which will check the telnet connectivity with the remote servers on a frequent interval. e.g i would like to check the connectivity to IP:172.26.35.1 on port 7003 Appreciate your help. Regards, Anup |
