I am new to Linux and have been ask to do this project..
I would really really appreciate some help on doing this.. I can find how to do each of these but nothing to do all of them at the same time. Create shell script that creates bulk users from an input file of user names. Key features: -reads names or usernames from a text file -creates user home directories and assigns passwords -sets correct directory ownership and permissions -can be interactive; the more flexible, the better -must edit config files by hand (i.e., cannot call useradd) -should print (or email) a confirmation when successfully completed. |
