Hi,
Following the steps of configuration for google.com as suggested by Monk. Within the /etc/resolv.conf i need to mention the nameserver

In /etc/resolv.conf you need to put DNS name server IP address provided by your ISP.
Proxy server IP is setup using Browser > Option menu
