Thread: Transparent Proxy : Cannot connect to another office (connected via VPN)

I have setup as per the instructions in "3 easy steps" and i cannot ping or connect to http now at our other office - which is connected to us via VPN....

Any suggestions?

This is the error page I get when trying to view a intranet server based at our other site:

Going through the usual gateway this is no issue

ERROR

The requested URL could not be retrieved

The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL:

http://intranet-site-name

Unable to determine IP address from host name intranet-site-name

The DNS server returned:

Server Failure: The name server was unable to process this query.

This means that the cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL. Check if the address is correct.
Your cache administrator is root.

Though if I ping the name of the machine the name is resolved to the IP and I get a response

Noone able to assist?
