hi all,

I am facing an issue with Squid reverse proxy, we have hosted some 10 sites on web servers internally and the websites are served by this reverse proxy, after some time one of the sites are not accessible by external users.

we have to manually restart the squid service .
Please let me know how to resolve this issue?
Where and how to see the logs, how to resolve this ?

Do you see any error message in squid log file?

Let me explain the problem with some more details, The web server is hosted with tomcat-apache, once the users done modification to the site and then they will be restarting the apache service.. When every they are doing this this squid proxy is unable to server the requests by users to this site. In squid proxy i am getting 503 error.
from this what i understand is the link between squid-reverse proxy and the internal webserver is getting down.. so i have to restart the squid to get connected again back to that one website..

so how to resolve this issue? please help me..
