Hello Friends,
I want to configure "squid" proxy on my CentOS PC. I have throughly knowledge of installing & configuring Squid proxy with "iptables" port forwarding from 80 to 3128,so that all my LAN users won't get trouble to mention
"Proxy IP" & "Port" in their browsers.
Now, My company want to modify the internet usage policy,as mentioned below.
If I have 50 Users in my company, each user can have their own user-id & password to use internet from any of the LAN computer. Is it possible?
Can we restrict IP wise user access? Mean to say,if i want USER-A should use only "192.168.1.2" ip address to access internet,is it possible? USER-A can't use internet from any LAN computers, except the allowed PC.
Company Want a HTML based page on squid proxy,so that they can monitor each user's daily internet use with accessed sites & total download of the day of each user.
Previously,i have configured "SARG" & "LightSquid" to generate such reports. But, if someone is having better tools to get WEB Based reports, kindly let me know.
Thanks In Advance.
