Thread: OpenSUSE: Access to Hard Disk On A Other Machine

Hi.. I have installet openSuSE 12.2 on my win7 machine in a dual boot. Each system is on their own harddrive. A 3'th harddrive is file disk - mp3, pdf, pic and so on. Everything connected to internet thru a router.
My problem is I have a Laptop installet with openSuSE 12.2 allso connected to internet wlan thru the router. HOW do I make access to the harddrive with files. I can see in the doc that their is loots of options ftp, ssh, sampa, apache. that is best with the hardware i have?

1. Use Samba when you need to access shared folders from MS-Windows.
2. Use NFS when you need to access shared folders from Linux or Unix like operating systems.
3. FTP / SFTP can be used from any operating systems.
4. HTTP is not recommended for private files.
