Default DNS, DHCP, PPPoE setup for OpenSuSE problems

I'm having troubles setting up my OpenSuSE computer to be the default gateway in my home LAN.

I have two network cards, one to connect to the internal network (10.0.0.x) and one to connect through PPPoE to my ISP. I can connect to the Internet on the machine, but the other computers on my LAN can't.

Each machine gets a DHCP address from this machine (I've turned off all other DHCP servers), and doing a ping test to the net it can resolve the name of an address eg ping Google will give me
PING Google (66.102.11.147) .....

So I know that the DNS server is working, and the PPPoE is working, and the DHCP is working, but it's not getting a route to the Internet.

If anyone could help that would be great It's frustrating me!!

Hi
Pls. make sure the following is configured:

1. ipv4 forward is enabled??
2. Gateway IP should be eth0 not eth1 or 2.
3. confirm the router gateway ip on both server and client system.

with regards,
Rajesh Paul
Chennai.
