Suse Linux is RPM based distributions, does not use yum or up2date or RHN but rather use YaST to install updates. Type the following to start YaST:
Code:
yast2 -i
Press Alt+F to change the Fitler and just follow on screen instructions. If you know the package name use it as follows:
Code:
yast2 -i apache2 php5

Many thanks,
but that is not what i'm looking for. red had network or red hat network satelite , is a enterprise manager like the active directory. with this rhn you are able to manage a bunch of servers with a couple of clicks through a web interface.

But not like webmin, it's so much powerfull, it's possible to manage users on a centralized ldap, update with 2 clicks, install packages from web,..... do backups, centralize logs and more.

I was hopping that suse had some similar to compare.

thanks.
