Default ping: sendmsg: No buffer space available

Hello EB,

My Linux box goes out of network after every 30-40min, it gives following error if i try to ping any other machine
ping: sendmsg: No buffer space available
ping: sendmsg: No buffer space available
ping: sendmsg: No buffer space available

but when I restart network service again it works for few min. I am using RHES3 update 5 and intel platform. Please let me know if anyone have any idea of this error.

May be you are using shared IRQ's, try to move card to another slot

Umm I thought the same way... but lan card is onboard

Is there any way we can change IRQ from Linux itself..??

I don't think so.. but your BIOS may offer some solution
