Install libpam-cracklib
Code:
apt-get install libpam-cracklib
Make sure you don't have any problems in PAM config files. You may also find - Linux check passwords against a dictionary attack article useful. It shows config option for the same http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linux-...ry-attack.html
