Unhappy Mrtg::Linksys wifi problem..?

Hi all.

[ Part 1]
I have mrtg setup on our admin/monitoring platform (fedora box) and setup mrtg to snmp monitor all our network devices due to a problem my WiFi users have been having.

when I run cfgmaker ::

/usr/bin/cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /var/www/html/mrtg/backbone' --output /etc/mrtg/wap.office.cfg public@192.168.0.6 - which is a Linksys WAP54G V3, with the latest firmware.

Cfgmaker produces the config file but without any interface stats (like you would a normal snmpget from a Draytek2800 for example)

I can do an snmp walk on the OID's all the way though the mib and see stats etc, but for some reason i can't get any data in this config file as per the rest of my hosts. (after some time talking to Linksys on their websupport i confirmed that the unit was runing the latest firmware and not bogus..

I read (via a google search on an archived post on WP) that Burn and some other guy had this kind of issue but since those posings I cant find a reply or followup, hence...

[ Part 2 ]

The company where I work in the UK have WiFi access via this AP, for some reason we get intermittent points where the AP drops the connection. The AP is placed within 5 meters of all the clients near it. I cannot pinpoint exactly when this happens as it's totally random. Somtimes it's fine, other times its bad.. However when the ap has been on for some time (1 week +)

This problem initially caused me some grief and when i pinpointed it to the AP, then i figured out that it must be either a CPU or traffic threshold issue which caused me to monitor it via MRTG, but I can't get any stats from it.

I'm monitoring the lan and wan at our office with Nagios using basic ping tests etc... (i just set it up)

Can anyone here help me with this?

Kindest regards
dan
