hey all
most of members in here i assume know program called No-ip
it came to redirect your ip address to host name
now am using it behind router and have this host
eawedat.no-ip.org
when i ping it i get the internal ip and not the external(real one which comes from the ISP)

for example when i
c:>ping eawedat.no-ip.org
i get 192.168.2.0
and should be the external one such 75.126.168.152

what can i do to redirect my real ip to a hostname
thanks.

You need to configure ddns client either in router or using Linux ddns client itself. See link below and configure it for your own router:

but it meant to be under win32 && their faq did not help me.

yeah i already use it..
and u can try urself

ping nedo.no-ip.org u will get 192.168.2.100
not the external ip from my ISP
