Hi frnds,
I have a Red Hat Linux AS 4 on My Computer(Server). I made two users in Linux. One is root(The Administrator) and the other is Ordinary User(faisal). I want to connect the Ordinary User(faisal) from Windows XP/2000/2003 clinet by using the Telnet Program to the root(Linux server). I want to know what changes did I make in the Telnet Program to connect to Linux Server. Would you please tell me in the detailed Steps. I will be very thankful to you. Faisal |

It sounds like you want to connect to your server via SSH.
You can download a free Windows SSH client called putty from here: PuTTY: a free telnet/ssh client Connect to your server's IP with the default settings and if it works you should be prompted with a login prompt. |
