Thumbs up Client-Server Programming in TCP

Hello Everybody,

I have wrote a program in tcp/ip .In some intervals client has to close the socket and to be reopend.But server connection should be opened all the time.when the client has opend the socket the server should send the data.when it is closed it should not send data.

when i close the connection in client side the server also closing connection.how to overcome this difficulty.

i need your help regarding this
