I am using RHEL 5. I have already configured my eth0 interface with all the details
I have added the route for default gateway. But when I am restarting the m/c, the default route entry gets removed. Please suggest me how to make the default route as permanent route. Thanks Santosh |

Open /etc/sysconfig/network and setup GATEWAY=YOUR-ROUTER-IP. The following will set gateway to 10.1.2.200
Code:
GATEWAY=10.1.2.200
