Hi,
To make the users denying for sftp access , put the user name in "/etc/vsftpd.ftpusers". And make sure to restart the vsftp service after doing this. |

Hi there,
you can use rssh script (rssh - restricted shell for scp/sftp) which is used to restrict sftp for some users...... Last edited by manoj.samtani; 08-05-2008 at 12:42 PM. Reason: spell mistake |

Am not sure if you can deny access to sftp while allowing access through ssh. sftp runs as a subsystem of ssh. Also I don't really understand the benefits of restricting access to sftp. What exactly are you trying to achieve ?
