The name resolution (DNS Server) is configured in the file /etc/resolv.conf file.

vi /etc/resolv.conf gedit /etc/resolv.conf Code:
search isp.com nameserver 10.0.0.254 nameserver 202.54.1.10 nameserver 203.22.5.254 The nameserver option - Every entry starting with nameserver is followed by an IP address of a name server. You can configure up to 3 name servers. If the first name server fails, the next one is used.
